Mary devoted more than 23 years to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, serving first as a 911 Dispatcher and later as a Deputy. During her tenure, she was known not only for her professionalism and skill but also for her deep compassion and commitment to making the community a safer, stronger place. She was a tireless advocate for outreach programs and initiatives that positively impacted countless lives.
Her involvement touched a wide spectrum of community efforts, including the Citizens Academy, Youth Fishing Derby, Project Lifesaver, D.A.R.E., Defensive Driving classes, and the Mounted Reserves.
