It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved community member and treasured resident, Londyn Whited of Durham Middle School, Acworth, Georgia. Though gone far too soon, the imprint Londyn left on our hearts and our community will endure.
Londyn was a radiant presence in our neighborhood, always ready with a smile, a kind word, and a helping hand. In a world that so often moves too fast and glances by, Londyn took the time to stop, to listen, to care. Whether as a friend to fellow students, a helper to neighbors, or simply someone whose warmth brightened every room, Londyn made an impact that will not be forgotten.

As part of the Durham Middle School community, Londyn contributed to its spirit of togetherness, kindness and hope. The halls of the school were better and more welcoming because Londyn walked them. The echoes of that laughter, those conversations, those moments of light will carry on in the memories of classmates, teachers, friends and family.
In this time of grief, we hold the Whited family — and all who loved Londyn — in our thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in the outpouring of love and support from the community, in the knowledge that Londyn’s life touched so many, and in the beautiful memories that remain. Though physical presence may be gone, the values Londyn embodied — compassion, joy, generosity of spirit — continue on in each of us.
Let us take a moment to celebrate Londyn’s life: to remember the laughter shared, the kindness shown, the spark of kindness in everyday moments. Let us honour that legacy by caring for one another, by showing gentleness, by extending the light Londyn offered so freely.
Though we mourn deeply, we also give thanks for having known Londyn and for the brief time we were blessed with that friendship. May Londyn rest in peace, embraced by eternal love, and may we carry forward the gift of that life lived fully and kindly.
With heartfelt sympathy and solidarity.
